Updating to Bios F3 if you can will clean up the thermal reading for the CPU, this helped me with setting fan speeds
I found all the Gigabyte "Apps" to be pretty much crap especially SIV. I set all my fan curves in the bios then later ran SIV and it screwed up everything. I eventually uninstalled the APP and just set the fans in the bios.
I like my computer quiet so if your trying to set low fan speeds, going below the manufacturer minimums can cause problems.
First Gigabyte Board I usually choose Asus, I have been happy with the board but the software is bad enough to ensure I will probably never buy another one.
