I'm building PC for my Father in-law.  I chose the best bang for the buck and now it seems everything is going wrong.

I had him buy a G1.Sniper B7,  Intel Core i5-7600K and memory and such.

The system turns on then turns off for about 7-10 seconds then reboots to do the same thing.  The first thing we did was reviewed all the connections to ensure they were connected correctly, no luck, disconnected items one by one to test again with no luck.  I even bread breeded the motherboard to test the same thing happens.

We got a replacement Motherboard and just got a bit further.  The motherboard still does the same thing but now the lights on the Motherboard turn on.

Intel support is saying to update the BIOS with Generation 5 processor,  I don't think I should have to buy another processor to update the bios to F20.  Even if the Core i5-7600K on the support list requires a BIOS with a F20 bios

If anything doesn't make sense or if any other information is needed let me know..

Greetings,
Hardware support is stated clearly on Gigabytes website.

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/G1Sniper-B7-rev-10#support-cpu

And Specs page..
* For 7th Generation Intel® Core™ processors support need to update the latest BIOS.

Sadly, you aren't the first person to discover their hardware selections are not compatible out of the box.  This includes CPU, memory and storage.  You will not find a copy of this board anywhere with F20 installed off the shelf.  Borrowing a CPU to flash up is the usual fix for this issue.  I'm sorry, but there is no way around this requirement.
