GA-AB350 CPU Light

GA-AB350 CPU Light
« on: October 30, 2017, 12:02:48 am »
I have just installed my Ryzen 7 1700 onto my motherboard, despite attempting to boot multiple times I am getting the cpu led light up and have no idea what I have done to do this nor how to remedy it, the cpu is seated correctly and my wraith cooler fits fine, have booted without cooler for a brief second and light still appears!

CPU LED on:

-Faulty install (CPU not installed or seated in socket correctly).  If the system start and stops repeatedly, check CPU fan connection.
or
-Bad / Defective CPU
-Damaged Socket
-Bad / DOA board

Might be prudent to strip it down and bench test.  If its DOA, you'll have to do this anyway.

Should also add that the Ryzen 1700 is supported with BIOS F2 (shipping) and later which is why I didn't mention it.
