Hello Gigabyte-Forums,
my PC is almost a year old now and i recently noticed Cool & Quiet is not working.
CPU-Z always shows a constant clock of 3107 Mhz and neither the clock nor the voltage is lowered in idle.
I spent a couple of hours trying to fix it but yet nothing helped.
My system configuration:
- GA-MA770-UD3 rev 1.0
- Phenom II X2 550
- MSI HD 4850
- 2 GB OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500
- Windows XP 32 bit
Things i already tried were
- setting Cool & Quiet to Auto
- installing Phenom II cpu drivers for Windows XP 32 bit
- updating Bios to newest version and loading optimized defaults
- trying an even cpu clock multiplier like 15 instead of stock 15.5
Anybody an idea what else I could do?
