Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H ide detection
« on: June 01, 2010, 08:20:09 pm »
Occasionally, usually after restarting my PC went get past checking IDE master 1.

The text for it comes up and then there is just one '.' and no more.

I haven't found a fix for this and I don't know what is causing it.  I have 2 hard drives and one optical all plugged into SATA.

Leaving it for a few hours, unplugged at mains seems to sort it out.

Any ideas?

Thanks. :)

What BIOS revision are you running...maybe it could do with an update. What are the settings in the BIOS regarding your drives? Have you checked all the cables?
