You don't say whether you are familiar with o/c or if this is your first attempt. As the memory is now controlled by the CPU there is a new bus system called the QPI which takes the place of the FSB. This makes it altoghter more complex than before as the two are connected. Check out here for more information: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=7

Hi i dont say that i dont nhow about oc before this i have DFI with 920 oc to 4.63 stable this Gigabyte have different bios than the dfi thats why i am asking any help i appriated sorry for my bad english thanks

That's a great overclock on your DFI You probably could teach me a thing or two about overclocking. The UD9 board just has so many options that I couldn't begin to explain them all. I would just suggest going through the manual first and try to work them out as you go along. As you already know overclocking isn't a pure science, it is more of an art and a lot of trial and error. There is nothing in the UD9 that other boards don't have really, so if you clocked a DFI, you won't have an issue.

You know very well it isn't pain-by-numbers, if you have a SPECIFIC question about some option ask away, but please don't fish for plug-in-numbers, it doesn't work that way

Incidentally, if you did get over 4.6ghz on air, that is one hell of a well binned chip, that isn't normal.

ok i do with 980x ES 4.73 stable with 1.5v for now beacuase this is my first attempt and im new in this bios tommorow i will do more than 4.73 sure if same one now have same print screen show it to me to see what i am doing Gigabyte UD9 OC thanks for all

Looking forward to seeing how you get on. If you can get 4.63Ghz out of an i7 920 then I am interested to see what you can do with a 980x

Last night i oc my mb but here in malta is to hot the air i dont have a air condition for now is ok but not stable at all to go to windows is normal but when i play crash i want to wait for now about summer  http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1297008 any one have this board in this forum so can we help each other
