Gigabyte 890GPA UD3H no i-o Shield pls help

hi guys bought gigabyte 890GPA UD3H and it didn't come with an i-o shield can anyone help me to get one because the retalier said its not there fault that its not in the box pls help ;D ???

Don't know who you got the board from but their response sucks!

Your best bet would be to check with Gigabyte's RMA dept and see if they can send you one, the address is: returns@gbt-tech.co.uk

To reiterate what absic115 has already said the retailer is cr*p :o Legally they are the company that sold the product to you and therefore your contract is with them. You do not have to go out of your way to  use a third party ie the manufacturer to receive what you have already paid for. If they still give you any sob story just phone your local branch of the Trading Standards Agency or the Office of Fair Trading and they will have a word "or maybe send the boys round" (to be honest that last part was my idea 8))

I would request a full new board
the I/O shield missing smells like a returned board sold as new

who was the retailer, I have an idea who it mght be considering their past record and trading stardards convictions for selling used products as new.

Yes, name them and shame them! It's the last thing any business, especially if the have shady practices, needs is attention brought to them.
