YES me too.
Here are some observations:
System: x58-UD5, i7 920 D0, 6gb gskill ddr3
Ive just done some testing in the shed.
I tested each mem stick in mem slot 1. All boot up fine. 2gb seen in bios and in Win
Used slots 1,3,5. I do this and bios only reads 4gb, Win sees 6gb/4usable
Used 2 stick in 1,3 slots. Bios sees 2gb win sees 4gb/2usable
I know it is not mentioned in the manual, but I thought what the heck and tried 2 sticks in slots 1,5 bios sees 4gb win sees 4gb/4gb usable.
So it would appear the problem may be in the slot 3 whether in dual or tri-mode. It is weird how Win can still see it although the bios has no idea.
I might try the original bios. I don't know what it was like as I Qflashed the new bios as soon as I got it. It could be that the latest bios is a mod for hex-core processors who's pin configurations are possibly different to the 4cores.
Im interested to know if even with the 3 slots full that it is operating in tri mode despite slot 3 not registering with the bios.
Edit: people are say re-seat the cpu as it is the mem controllers but how does that explain the bios "NOT" seeing the ram in slot3?
