If your system is stable and running properly with BIOS F4 or earlier there is
no need to update.
If you must update, I'd stick with F8. CPU microcode updates
does not mean fixes for spector or meltdown. They can be stepping updates as newer processors are released improving power management and compatibility. Again, if you system is stable, there is no need to update. Your choice.
