Finally we managed to install a good non-cracking UAD driver including realtek manager
Yesterday there was suddenly no sound at all and I saw that windows update had another driver installed.
I put it back again but how do I disable this that windows update does not update this driver?
(have now temporarily turned off windows update completely)
Greetings,
W10 Pro offers the ability to rollback, pause and defer updates.
Rollback allows you to revert to a previous build (example 1809 > 1803)
Pause toggle (Advanced options) pauses all updates
Defer - offers several options allowing you to specify how early you want to install features based on their release. Example "Semi-Annual Channel" [Targeted - non-Targeted] gives you the ability to defer features based on release date and maturity. You are not going to place yourself at any risk disabling updates for a month or two until a newer compatible sound driver is released.
