Greetings,
Certainly a nice MB in its day. Lots of extras and all the bells and whistles.
I agree the issue is probably related to drivers.
I do not believe Rev 1.0 of the board is certified for windows 10. Rev 1.1 is. However, support for the VIA USB Hub is provided by Microsoft.
There are no BIOS updates that address USB behavior.
Things you can check / try:
Ensure you are running the latest Intel chipset drivers (.inf)
Reset BIOS to defaults, you'll need to set up boot device / order for the system to start.
Remove all of the USB devices from Device Manager, restart and allow windows to reinstall them
*Move other devices to these ports and connect the Mouse and Wi-Fi adapter to the Blue ports
*Don't use any hubs and connect the peripherals directly to the USB ports
I understand why you are not using the Wi-Fi expansion card.. its limited to a/b/g/n standand and you are probably AC or wifi6 by now.
If this install was an upgrade from W7 or 8, a fresh install of windows 10 from the get go *could* help. (Likelihood is low though)
Note: If you have the USB blocker app installed as part of the Gigabyte Utilities, consider removing it and retest.
Maybe its time for an upgrade?
