Z490-I - Does it support Wake on LAN?

Z490-I - Does it support Wake on LAN?

I want to use Wake on LAN with the Z490-I Aorus Ultra.
There does not seem to be such a setting in the BIOS.
Can someone please confirm this board supports this feature and if so how to enable it.

First, disable Easy Mode by toggling F2

Then Settings > Platform Power Management [Enabled]

Not 100% sure its supported, but it will likely be there if it is.

I can't see if where you suggest. When the PC is turned off though the LAN port LEDs are flashing which is a good sign I guess, but still no luck when trying WoL.

Any ideas most appreciated...

What (exactly) don't you see?

Did you press F2 and exit "Easy Mode"?

I am in advanced mode, I enable Platform Power Management, and I see the following options:

PEG ASPM
PCH ASPM
DMI APSM

ErP
Soft-Off PWR-BTN
Resume by Alarm
Power loading
RC6(Render Standby)
AC Back

I would share a photo but I keep in getting internal server errors when I try and add one.

If you see LAN connectivity with the system powered off, WoL is likely supported.  Its not documented in the manual, and the chip is only identified as Intel 2.5Gbe.  Intel makes several chiips:

Which chip is it...  Check Device Manager for this.

Once identified, check advanced properties.

Here is an example.  My BIOS doesn't have an entry for WoL, but the adapter supports it.  More likely a wired connection would support it over wireless (laptop) since the adapter would likely be powered off when the system was sleeping.  It sounds like your wired adapter is continuing to receive power.  Please note the following.  Cheap (inexpensive) routers don't always support WoL reliably.  Many do not implement or support the ARP table properly and can be unreliable.  You should be able to use a packet sniffer (may also required a hub) to ensure wake packet are correctly being passed to the device you are trying to wake.  I think Magic Packets use UDP ports 7 and 9.
