I am a fan of PrecisionX1 also. It's by far one of the most comprehensive, stable apps made. I use EVGA exclusively for this reason. (Primarily drivers). No nonsense warranty too.
Admittedly, I have not used Aorus Engine, but Gigabyte cards would be my second choice. Design is awesome and the vortex fan thing is also cool (literally).
But let's talk about what you aren't getting from Aorus Engine. What card do you have? What case are you running it with and what type of cooling? Are you OC'ing (pushing) your card for maximum FPS? Are you overheating? I find that many people attempt to use software and custom fan curves to make up for poor case choice or inadequate cooling.
