@BIOS support for Z690?

None I am aware of. Based on what I've read, Face Wizard does not work with every BIOS due to size constraints. Some of the newer BIOS' are larger than when this feature was created. I know its fun to have your own boot logo, but also consider this. BIOS flashing is potentially risky. It can work 100 times flawlessly until one time it doesn't. @BIOS is not the safest way to update your BIOS either. Gigabyte does not post any release information about this feature or what boards/BIOS it works with. "Grayed out' probably means not supported. It might be best to contact eSupport for guidance:

I have to agree with shadowsports on the Bios updates. Most updates on MB's are for people that are having problems. If you not having any problems stay away from updates.
I have a Z690 AORUS ELITE AX DDR4 board. It at first didn't see my M.2 drive. I even had to install a driver for the M.2 to install windows. I did what shadowsports said you to do contact support.
They sent me a new bios and it fix the M.2 problem. But the funny part it doesn't show that on their site about the M.2 problem. There are 5 more bios updates. I'm not having any more problems so I'm not doing any more updates.
The point is "If it isn't broke don't fix it"

Well, in my case it's not for fun, i'm a system integrator and if we won't find a solution for branding - we cannot release a product, and we'll have to look for alternative motherboards. Personally, I prefer to stay with Gigabyte for many technical reasons, so i'll have to do all the "risky stuff" in order to find a working and reliable solution. Already wrote to Gigabyte support, waiting for a reply and in the meantime trying all possible methods because too much time already been wasted on this.

In my case, using their "B460M - DS3H - V2" board, which has both M.2 and SATA ports, the BIOS very illogically sets the SATA ports as having precedence over the M.2 (NVMe) port, and due to some whacky way the BIOS code is functioning, if you connect a SATA drive that can boot and do not use F12 to select the M.2 drive (which often will not show up in the menu other than a completely BLANK solt!!!), then it will always boot to the SATA drive instead. Only after selecting the M.2 drive in F12 menu, will it reboot (most of the time; not always) to the M.2 drive after doing so!
