B560M DS3H: Boot device selection menu
« on: July 11, 2022, 07:36:19 pm »
Hello,

On a B560M DS3H board, is there a way to change the duration of time the startup logo is displayed during boot? This is the only opportunity to enter boot device selection menu (by pressing F12) and it is too short for me.

TIA

The only way to fix that is clear the cmos. Pull the battery and put a jumper on the Cmos pins. What is causing the short time is you must have it set to fast boot. You could try and older keyboard that has a Ps2 plug on it. You might be able to get to it with that keyboard maybe.

But once you clear cmos you have to reset up your bios and don't set it to fast boot. Set the default settings 1st, reboot and go back in set time and date. Everything else should be ready to go other than the fast boot.

Will try that. Thanks.
