Which Z790 Aorus Xtreme X drivers

Hi,

Splashed out on the Z790 Aorus Xtreme X, I don't need it, just decided to go for it.
Pairing it with i9-14900K, Corsair 2 x 6400 CMT64GX5M2B6400C32 ver 5.43.01, Asus Rog Strix 4090 OC.

Apart from the BIOS, what else might be needed / best to update for a general gaming setup please? There are 19 drivers and I doubt that all of them would be of use to me. So do I install all 19? If not, which ones please?
Not doing RAID.
And the Utilities, I take it that only the RGB and latest Control Centre package are needed?

After you install windows the first thing it does is it wants to install Gigabyte's control center Right? By chance it doesn't install the GCC download it and install it. Then just let it do it's thing. It will install the drivers you need for the board.

In the list of things it wants to install. I would uncheck like the antivirus and the Bios updated.

Sounds like a plan, thanks. Bios I'd much prefer to do From the bios itself, and antivirus is covered anyway.

I presume that it would be good practise to check the GCC again After any bios update?

BIOS updates are not required.  If the system is stable, consider staying where you are.  Run the support tool and windows updates, but you can hold off on the BIOS unless you discover a problem, or experience an issue that a newer BIOS addresses. 

BIOS updates should be performed in the BIOS.  This is the safest method.

Sorry, no notify. I have heard of that viewpoint before and in many ways subscribe to it.
I believe that the board is quite new anyway, so should be running a recent BIOS version out of the box.
It was more the various drivers, as they do have way more frequent updates generally

Indeed, you are correct.  When flashing, you want to remove as many variables or points of failure as possible.  Back up first, ensure the system is connected to UPS, then flash from within the BIOS. 

As far as OS updates go.  I usually use what windows update offers.  There are some circumstances. such as audio drivers or video where you get additional configuration options, so in that case install the manufacturers drivers.

I don't update drivers and the Bios unless I really have too. Video driver is like 6 months old. I'll let that go till I really have to update it. If I'm not having any problems I leave well enough alone.
