Well in light of the fact that you cant even remove the card I would get him back to your house and stand there while he
a)removes the card
b) fixes the computer
You paid him to build a working PC after all.

There is a white catch at the back of the slot are you pushing that in as you remove the card.

You paid him to build a working PC after all.
I said at the start:
“Go back to your expert and say “you call this a working PC? Fix it”.”
“Tell him to being a new monitor and if it works buy the monitor if not tell him to fix it you can't lose.”
Now the OP has replaced the PSU removed the CPU and moved the RAM about its now their responsibility.

The only reason I'm doing this is because he doesn't work for the weekends and I want to fix it so I could use the Comp for this weekend... Sunday he WILL fix it. My old man already threatened him for his poor efforts and uselessy... lol...

Yes I think you should give him the chance to put it right but I would watch and see what he does. I would also want to see that card come out, it shouldn't be that difficult at all. If you still have trouble afterwards come back on the forum and post again. Good luck.

UPDATE: Noticed the problem happens more often when I inserted a USB flashdisk to my case's front USB's.
thought I'd give it a try disconnect them from the board (since I know one of them is faulty. I haven't bumped into the trouble yet. Hopefully its solved.
Possible?

Just a thought when you mentioned the front USB being faulty. The connectors are on flying leads and are exactly the same as the firewire connections. I would check that the lead hasn't been inserted into the firewire(1394) port by mistake.

It sounds promising, doesn't it? Maybe that was what the problem was jutst make sure if you do reconnect them they go into the right socket. It always seemed stupid to me that they made the sockets the same and then placed them together. Just an accident waiting to happen.

well I am still getting the same error even after 9 hours of straight smooth ride...
a slight change though... error rate has reduced significately, and this time even after a crash I can get the system to boot, but it'll happen again after a short while.
gonna take this PC to my expert tomorrow. see what the hell is going on... next step: maybe heat? computer running on 40-50C while idling tho...
