GA-P35-DS3L Ver. 2
« on: July 30, 2010, 09:05:18 pm »
I bought two of these boards and used them for about 3 or 4 months with Q6600 CPUs. I replaced them with boards that have more PCI-E slots. I gave one away and was planning on giving the last one away but I cannot get the board to boot with any of the three q6600 CPUs that I have. It is running fine with a P4 3.06 and I have updated the BIOs to the latest version F9. The Bios have been reset many times and I have tried 4 different types of ram including the Kingston Hyper X that I originally used. Do you have some suggestions?

Did you clear the CMOS memory before trying the new hardware?

Please don't take offense but a lot mof mpeople think that resetting the BIOS is the same as clearing the CMOS but it is entirely different.
