Not a sound card for the weak hearted or those without lots of money to throw at just the audio side of their PC.  It costs around £350 and it is designed for multi-track In/Out recording and has to be connected to a Mixer and Amplifier to be able to hear any sound.

Not, I guess, the kind of thing you will be looking for to play your old recordings of Andy Stewart! "Donald, where's me troosers?"
