I am not surprised that the nVidea driver was causing a problem as this has been known in the past. Keep checking your other programs and services that are running.
I am glad that you are able to play your games etc now but don't forget that the latency issue is still there and needs fixing.

ya, i'll do some research on the net on dpc problem becos i had terminated all the background program (not services) that i could. I'll also try the services testing tonite (another 12hrs)

edit1: did some googling and found that high dpc in idle mode has something to do with driver + certain mobo chipset, these ppl had been troubleshooting this problem for some time since early aug 2010 lol

The nVidea drivers have been causing some trouble for some time now and that is one reason I steer clear of them and use the Radeon instead. It might be worth looking at reverting to some older driver even though you may lose a bit of performance it might behave better.

hi just to update, there was some driver leaks (but removed) that solve the dpi issue but it seems to have created some other problem lol.
is there a possibility for gigabyte to push nvidia to hurry up the official release? tired of waiting lol

The only suggestion I can make is to get onto GGTS and complain. Sorry there is nothing we can do from here but I do appreciate your feelings on the matter.

As far as I know this driver should fix your problem, marklen.
ZX-S & C64 are still my favourites ;-)

Have you tried on the game's website to see if there are any patches that need applying for this problem?
