GA-X58A-UD3R rev2 stability and onboard audio problem (maybe)

I7 - 950
Kingston HyperX 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 - KHX1600C9D3K3/6GX
EVGA 470 GTX
CORSAIR CMPSU-850TX 850W
CORSAIR H70 CPU
Windows 7 64 bit home premium
Right now running FA bios version

What is the optimal settings i should be using for the bios? for CPU and RAM for NO overclock.  There are many options to tweak that are confusing.

Currently i'm running 1.66 voltage, 999-27 for the ram for 1600.
CPU voltage/blck etc. I am running everything right before the pink setting.  (don't remember off the top of my head, i'm posting at work).

I had my friend run some tests for me.

Memtest for 36 hours showed no errors
Prim95 stress test for 12 hours = no crashes
Video card benchmark test = no crashes

Friend said everything is fine and I took it home.

I loaded up my itunes to listen to music and boom, computer locked up., but it seems like when i run audio, my computer locks up.  Tested it over and over.  I updated my onboard sound drivers and still crashed..  Right now i have my sound disabled and i haven't seen any crashes since.  I really don't know if its a fluke.  I'm asking for optimal settings in case that could be the problem.

This is my 2nd gigabyte mobo, i rmaed my first because one of my mem slots was dead.

Any Suggestions?

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.
Your settings look fine to me. It's best if you want to run at stcok settings to just use the BIOS optimised defaults and then adjust the memory as you have done. From what you have tested it would seem stable enough although you could always try running Memtest86+ on the memory one stick at a time for about ten loops each just to make sure there are no memory problems.

Thanks for the response.

My friend has done that and he said no errors, problems.

Are you aware of the on board audio conflicting with the Nvidia drivers (maybe)?

I will try the optimized default when i get home.
