Everytime I turn my computer on with a Gigabyte P55-UD4 motherboard all fans start up and computer turns back off straight away but emits a short beep and will repeat this cycle over and over again till powered off. same thing happens when i unplug every thing and is just running board and cpu, Can anyone help with this?

Is this a new build? If so the first thing I would advise you to check would be the pins in the CPU socket. You will have to look closely for any that are slightly bent.
If it's not a new build please list your complete hardware setup.

The other thing it could be is that the short beep you receive may be the first in a series of beeps but it restarts before the second one, in which case it could be a power error. What PSU are you using?

tried a working psu same watts 750watt still same fault computers turns on then straight back off, motherboard lights flash on and would indicates full cpu load.
same problem when i stripped compiter down to psu cpu board and then rebuild if bit by bit to test.

Sorry the Beeping was actually the screen on the front of the Case turning on, Motherboard does NOT make a sound.

Here is a list of my computer componants:

Have you made sure that you have connected all the power leads including the ATX12v near the processor and the graphics card? If yes then I would go with the bent pins. Can you take a couple of macro shots of the CPU socket for us?

Have you actually got a buzzer connected to the board?

Yes the computer has got a Buzzer as it beeped every time I turned it on in the past, The problem started upon putting a new TV card in that (despite the box claiming) diden't seam compatable with Windows 7
i.m thinking its board or cpu and some how i staticed the board.

Yes it is beginning to look that way I must admit. Trouble is the only way to be 100% sure is to swap out components. I am presuming that the offending board was drop-kicked over the garden wall and is not still lurking in the machine?

Well mI think we can rule out the bent pins in your case as your machine has been working ok. If you have another motherboard that is compatible with your CPU that would be the best way to test it. Otherwise I wouldn't go messing with the CPU/Motherboard as I say te sockets are very fragile and it doesn't take much to bend the pins.
