Right well I guess that it's time to spill the beans so to speak and let everyone know the answer. I must admit to being as in the dark about this as anyone else until I was discussing it with GGTS one day. The standard BIOS chip will hold 8MB of which 1 MB is used for the updates but to create an image of the BIOS requires
128MB on the hard drive. I couldn't believe it myself and argued the point but they assured me that it was correct. This was the reason I was told why they dont enable the
Backup BIOS to Hard Drive option by default.
