GA-MA785GM-US2H issues
« on: October 20, 2010, 08:04:38 am »
So i got in a new GA-MA785GM-US2H which i noticed boasted a 3d mark 06 score of 2000+ on its onboard video (ATI Radeon HD 4200).  Not bad.  Decided to load up and test it for myself...after a whole slew of blue screen errors i think went away with a bios update.  Sadly, I am only seeing 3-5fps on the test.  I was wondering, is that normal or something wrong with the onboard video? My other hardware?

I just built a computer with the same board with an AMD Athlon II x3 450, and unlocked it to a Quad Core running at 3.5Ghz! (it could easily be OCd higher).
As for your question,
the onboard GPU is running at 500Mhz by default, which should give a 3D mark06 score of around 1500+.  Overclocked to 1100Mhz, it will get 2300+ marks!

hope that helps
