hello guys.......... first of all i screwed up my previous GA-P55-USB3 board's CPU pins......... went and got a new board........... i was happy with the old board's config so got the same board............Now before i assemble it and start working just wanted to get a few things cleared right away..........
I plan to OC my i5 760........ and i'm running the patriot PGS34G1600ELK memory dimms which i want to use to its full potential...........In my previous build i noticed that the memory speed was downgraded to 1066 speeds by default...... i want to run them at 1600Mhz minimum....... i need step by step config on how to do this......... also can i increase their speed to more than 1600Mhz since the board supports upto 2200Mhz........
The boards software allows me to OC to preset levels........ how do i OC to higher levels........... i know its through bios but would appreciate if anyone will give step by step instructions.........
