No post or full screen logo 790FXTA-UD5

Hi to all, my first post.
Ok, Coolermaster 900W Modular PSU, GA 790FXTA-UD5, F3i BIOS, Phenom II x6 1055T 2.8 Ghz unclocked (running at 3.3 according to Everest), Corsair HP50 CPU water cooler, Western Digital 1TB sata 3 6Gb HDD (have 2nd one but not yet raided) 8 Gb Kingstone Hyper X DDR3 1666 (running at 1333 according to Everset), 2 x NVidea 9600GT PCIe cards in SLI, Duel boot Windows 7 Ultimate 64 and XP Pro 32 SP3 on 2 x 500 Gb partitions. Floppy, Usb Card Reader, 2 x Liteon Sata II DVD Writers, 120mm Front fan, 100mm Rear and Side fans.
Since updating BIOS to F3i yesterday, I ran on my Phenom II x 4  - 3.4 Ghz, everything was fine. Today I fitted my new Phenom II x 6 1055T.
On first boot, no Post screen or full Logo screen so no BIOS option or Boot choice, 1 beep as usual, a very long wait, several minutes looking at black screen, then XP loads.
It seems to be working fine in XP 32, I have tried several reboots, tried tapping Del at various times on reboot, this stops windows loading altogether so another reboot.
Checked my other partition (Windows 7) and everything seems to be there.
Tried everything I know, I admit, thats not much, totally beaten, any ideas what I've done or not done.
One thing I have noticed is that the power LED no longer works although connections seem ok.

 Thanks in anticipation, kacee

2nd post, re read the manual, Doe, cleared CMOS with button, now have Post screen, boot choice, full screen logo page, both systems work but take about 3 minutes to load. Set Bios to default and still takes 3 minutes to load OS

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

You seem to have been having fun.

First question is how did you update the BIOS? Did you use @BIOS or QFlash?

Have you tried clearing the CMOS by removing the power lead and then removing the motherboard battery for at least ten minutes?
Once done load optimised setup defaults.
