I want to build want another Gaming Computer and by chance my friend want to sell motherboard EP45-DQ6 and another one sell RAM same as my RAM (OCZ Reaper PC 8500)...
Do EP45-DQ6 compatible with OCZ Reaper PC-8500 4GB (1066MHz) ?

I need an answer because not only me want buy a motherboard and this RAM.

your choice of RAM doesn't appear on the QVL for this motherboard: http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Memory/motherboard_memory_ga-ep45-dq6.pdf

The motherboard supports: 4 x 1.8V DDR2 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory

If you get this RAM you will probably have to increase the Voltage from the default to it's rated value to get it to work properly.

The reason you haven't had a reply is  probably because other Forum members haven't got a definite answer for you.

Another reason is that you haven't given the part numbers of the memory only a general description. Also you have been advised to check on the QVLs of both Gigabyte and OCZ.

Can I request so that GIGABYTE produce new BIOS so that support my RAM?

To be honest Nick the board isn't state of the art and so there might be updates released but only for any major problem and I can't really see them writing as BIOS update for you to be able to use this memory. You can probably use this RAM but you will have to configure it to work with the motherboard.
