can someone help me i recently had this problem everytime i open my pc my monitor doesnt display anything because my onboard graphics was the one loading so everytime i open my pc my monitor doesnt display anything so i have to hit del for the bios and then f10 to save and exit after that my gpu would start to load and my monitor now has display, why is that happening to me? can anyone help me, my pc specs mobo:g31m es2c, gpu geforce 8600gt 256mb ddr3 ram dual channel 2gig

Have you set primary display to PEG (if using a pci-e gfx) in the bios?  Failure to do so would mean that you keep booting to 'vga' first.
Also, if you have your gfx in the pci-e second slot (maybe because of set up with extra hdd's or memory placement) you need to set it as PEG1 in bios.
