It seems unable to support more than 2 or 3 USB ports, if an extra USB device is connected it reports as not found or faulty, the USB ports on the back plate appear more stable, but the USB ports connected to the headers on the motherboard are much worse, connecting a 4 slot card reader to the any of the 3 headers often causes corruption of memory cards.
This problem was apparent when new, i reported it to the builder (computer planet) they suggested faulty wiring on the USB ports & accepted it back. They fitted the mobo / drive into a new case and returned it, seemed OK till one day I connected both my USB external drives (also scanner, printer, webcam etc) one of the drives started clicking - so shut down in panic. On checking found card reader not working at all, opened the case to find card reader not plugged into USB header (that's why the original USB fault didn't show)
Plugging the card reader in caused original fault of USB ports failing with only 2 or 3 devices connected, trying another known good card reader also causes the fault to appear.
So 2 cases, 2 psus, 2 card readers, any ideas please...
