I have the following config:-
CPU:- I5 760(Stock Speeds)
PSU- CM GX550
GPU- Radeon 6950 2GB.
Ram-Corsair XMS 4 gigs
I set everything up but there is not POST. The fans are working. Just there is nothing on the display. I have attached my speaker(to produce the POST beep) but there ain't any beep. I understand that i NEED to update my bios to atleast version F6. I downloaded the F9 files, extracted them, and put all 3 on a blank USB flash drive. I restart and hit <end> to start QFlash, nothing happens. No post, no beep. Tried hitting <delete>, no change. Tried hitting F8, no change. I'm in a small town in India and I can't seem to get an old i3 or i5 CPU to flash the BIOS. What should I ideally be doing? Note:- While I copy all 3 files onto a flash drive, the autoexec.bat vanishes on hitting refresh,but on my internal hard disk, it remains unaffected . Any explanations? Need urgent assistance. Thank You.
