cpuid when computer starts

cpuid when computer starts

Hello 

My Computer which I have had for 2 yrs  I built it and has run good

But yesterday I noticed a new line when computer started     was listing hard drives in bios  when I got

this message CPUID:06FB Patch ID:00B6    then the computer started       It starts fine    just get this message

Can someone please tell me what it means?

That is normal to see if you have full screen logo disabled, are you sure you just didn't overlook it in the past?

What board is it anyway?

As Lsd said it is part of the normal boot display, it's just that if you are running as standard with the full screen logo enabled in the BIOS you wouldn't be able to see it.

Thank you both for your help it is as you say      but seems to come and go    Just noticed it for first time

I took pictures of the startup pages when I first got the computer running and I looked at them yesterday and it is in the boot display back then   

So all is well

The mother board is an EP45-UD3R

Nice to hear you noticed it in the past images you have, it's normal for sure.

You'll see it all the time if you disable full screen logo
