HI

I want to Upgrade my Ram because the 8GB i currently have aren't enough.

I have this 16GB Kit in mind. http://www.gskill.com/products.php?index=335

My Components:
Mainbord: EX58-UD5
CPU: i7 975
Win: Win7 Professional

Can this work?

Hi and welcome.

The main problem you face there is that the motherboard you have is a triple channel memory architecture but the memory kit you linked to is not. That doesn't mean that you cannot use this kit but at best you are not going to be using the board to it's full potential. I would suggest looking for a triple channel kit like the Corsair Dominators.

So i should go with 3 * 4GB = 12GB or 6 * 4GB = 24GB.

Is there another thing i should keep in mind?

Yes that's correct. Make sure that you purchase them as a matched kit though. Check on the memory manufacturer's website for their QVL which will list all the compatible memory for the motherboard.
