GA-MA790X-UD3P: Help in choosing RAM.
« on: January 20, 2011, 08:46:10 pm »
Hi all, I am in serious help of choosing some RAM since a block decided to crap on me. And, while I was looking on the internets I came across:

http://www.dabs.com/products/kingston-valueram-valueram-8gb--2x4gb--ddr3-1066-non-ecc-cl7-dimm-67G1.html

Will that fit my motherboard? I just wanna be sure before I buy it, and is it any good? The reason I´m asking is because I can buy it dirt cheap.

I am currently running AMD 965BE.

Hi there,

The RAM that you have linked to is DDR3 and sadly, your motherboard needs DDR2 RAM so it won't fit I'm afraid.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.
