P67A-UD3P S3 Issues

I looked on this forum for a similar post and did not see one. 

I have an issue with my P67A-UD3P.  Everything works fine when I boot the PC.  I set the BIOS to the settings I want and no issues.  But as soon as I put the PC into sleep mode (S3), and it wakes up, it seems a lot of my settings are reverted to "Auto".  The settings that revert to Auto are : vCore, LLC, and Turbo multiplers.  At least these are the only ones I notice.  However, when I reboot, the BIOS appears unchanged and everything works good again.

Granted the simple work around to this is just do not use sleep mode.  But I hate rebooting my PC everyday.

I am using Win7 64bit, 2600 CPU and BIOS F5.  I tried F3 and F6a and the problem exists in all of them.

I opened a few tickets through Gigabyte, and after I gave them all the info they needed, I never heard back.  Plus I know others are having issues like this on other forums.  So does anyone know if this will be fix and if it is being worked on?

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

The power saving modes often cause problems with something else and end up having to be tweaked or disabled to enable a workaround. That is not just on this series of board but across the whole range.

I would advise you to check all your power saving settings in Windows and the BIOS first to make sure that they all coincide. Also make sure that your specific sleep settings are correct.

Personally I prefer not to use sleep mode because it lets problems gradually start to build up that don't get cleared with a reboot.

I have checked all my Windows settings and BIOS settings.  My BIOS settings are as close to identical as they were with my P55 series MB, and I had no issues with that.

Can you please point me to the settings that could be causing this issue, as you state is an issue with the entire P67 series of boards.

Also, will this be fixed with a BIOS update eventually?

I didn't mean the range of P67 boards I just meant recent motherboards in general.

I am hoping to be testing one out and reviewing it shortly so maybe I will be able to get a better insight into the workings of the motherboard then.
