Does anyone know what firmware version was included for the marvel 91xx SATA 3 chips with the GA-X58A-UD3R (rev. 2.0) FE BIOS update?
I know the driver posted on the website here is well over a year out of date and my understanding is there are supposed to be some level of cohesion and dependence between the driver and the firmware versions. So realistically if Giga-byte is not updating the driver it doesn't give me great confidence they are in fact doing much to address the firmware versions.
Not sure if these are the most current numbers but I have seen 1.0.0.1051 WHQL certified drivers for this chip, a far step from the 1027 driver released over a year ago. Same with the RAID software being 4.1.0.1909 versus the 4.1.0.1700 on the product page. As I pointed out, not even certain if these are the latest, just what I've come across trying to solve some compatibility issues I've been having.
