Hello. Before anything, sorry for my english.
I've been trying to get info of my motherboard CPU temp, it looks like my CPU temp is way high for the setup i have.
This is what i have build. GA-MA770-UD3 rev 2.1 , AMD Phenom 2 550BE, Kingston hyperX 1066MHz, MSI R5770 HAWK, Corsair HX650W, ST3320418AS 320.0 GB. Cooling, 2x 120mm fan at front, 1x 120mm at rear of the case, CPU cooling Thermalright Silver Arrow. Mosfet area cooling, ENZOTECH MOS-C1 heatsinks.
OS Windows7
BIOS Version FKb
So, to the question. I.ve OC'd my setup to CPU 4000MHz, NB 2600MHz and memory 800MHz 4-4-4-12 2.2v (Thank you Gigabyte for a great Motherboard u've made) and after prime or IBT stress test my temps are: CPU idle 37C , load 50C , Motherboard 28 idle and 31C load, Core temps are 24C idle and 39C load. There is 13C difference between CPU and cores at idle, and 11C difference at load.
Is this normal, i dont know if the CPU temp sensor on motherboard is bad calibrated or what? Or can it really be that CPU temp is so much higher than cores?
Small update. The temp differences are same when not overclocked, And everything at BIOS set to AUTO.
