Thanks a lot for your help.  I guess, I'll just have to purchase another motherboard and see what happens.  I don't have to mention how disappointed this situation has made me.  However, it was a pleasure talking to you.  Again, thanks for your help.

Well try reseating the CPU and apply a little paste to the heatsink before replacing it and then try again. Sometimes just refitting a component can do the trick.
