Doubts : graphics card, memory and motherboard compatibility
« on: April 07, 2011, 08:41:30 am »
Hello, I'm back  :D.

I need advice. I've a GA-MA785GMT-UD2H a few months ago and I'm very happy with it.

Now, I need other motherboard compatible with ATI Radeon HD 5670 or 5750. I have to choose between:

GA-M68MT-D3

GA-880GM-UD2H

I think I choose the second. Is it  better, right?

But I've doubts about full compatibility with ATI 5670-5750 and if I may use KVR1333D3N9/2G as 1333 MHz from the start without overclock.

Best regards.

Hi there,

if you go for the GA-880GM-UD2H then your choice of either GPU should be fine. In my mind this would be the better choice of motherboard.

Although the Kingston memory you are looking at is not on the QVL I believe it should work OK at the default settings.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

Ok, thanks. Then I 'll choose 880GM-UD2H with KVR1333 and 5750.
