Greetings, I have the P35-DS3P
rev1.1 motherboard (F12) with 2x1 GB RAM (CRUCIAL BL2KIT12864AA804 BALLISTIX) and I need to put another 2x2GB RAM because I need at least 6 GB of RAM.
The problem is that according to Memory Support List
http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Memory/motherboard_memory_ga-p35-ds3p.pdf there isn't any 2 GB in the QVL (Qualified Vendors List), except two modules which I can't find it.
The motherboard supports up to 8GB by 4 DIMM slots... Gigabyte should mention that it “supports up to 8GB by 4 DIMM slots of Samsung M378T5663AZ3-CE6 DDR2 667 or NANYA NT2GT64U8HB0JY-3C DDR2 667" only .
Any suggestions (by owners of P35-DS3P rev1.1 with 2x2 GB RAM)?
Also, according to Kingston I can use some their 2 GB modules. Anyway, I trust more the gigabyte's or other user feedback!
Thanks
