Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte forum.

The first thing we would need to know is what motherboard you have. You haven't given us much in the way of details to go on.

Are you planning to use the SSDs in a RAID configuration or as standalone drives ?

The large spinners I would put on the Marvell ports and set them to AHCI mode. Your optical drive I would connect to the SATA2 ports and set as IDE mode. The SSDs will be best suited to the SATA3 6GBs ports whether you are planning to RAID them or not. Put them, on SATA3_0 and SATA3_1.

This configuration will give you the best performance whilst giving you stability as well.

You are saying the system is already built ? Is Windows installed if so you cannot just go moving things around. Why didn't you sort all this out before building the system up ?

No problem just need to know where we are coming from  that's all. ;)

The ports are all marked in the schematic in your manual on page 7 here:

http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-z68x-ud7-b3_e.pdf

The Marvell 6GBs ports are the grey ones marked GSATA3_6 and GSATA3_7

No worries if Windows isn't loaded yet you can do just as I suggested. I forgot to mention that you can configure the two SSDs as RAID0 if you want to but you will stop TRIM from working and will have to use Garbage Collection instead to keep the drives healthy.

No the SSDs should be connected to SATA3_0 and SATA3_1 as I first suggested. That is the two white ports.
