not having good luck with oc'ing my ud5-b3 setup

hi all, im not doing good with this new setup, i trying to oc it and geting it to run stable is very hard , iv got it to run stable at 3.8 with 1.360 vcore any lower and freezes or restarts

iv put it up to 4.2 and had the vcore at 1.465 and only ran stable for about 15mins then restarts , i didnt really want to go any higher on the vcore but i can say the more i put into the vcore the longer the stress test will run i did start out at 4.2 with 1.400 and would crash at about 2 mins in then went up to 1.440 for about 8mins in befor crashing , max i went was 1.465 for 15mins, what u guys think about this ? the temp is about 60 - 65c on all cores with water cooling 1/2 in lines duel rad config
 
oh yea cpu is i7 2600k and turbo is disabled

You are probably using way too much Vcore, most CPU's for these boards can do 4Ghz - 4.4Ghz on stock voltages, so you shouldn't need 1.4x at all for just 4Ghz area.   Try 1.25-1.34 vcore and see if that helps you any

Also be sure you are using the latest BIOS, and that you have started with optimized defaults and rebooted before you started changing settings.   It also will help to flash the backup BIOS to match the main BIOS using ALT + F12 at startup, here's a video on how to do that.

i did try auto vcore seting and started at 1.3.5 and went up from there in like 1.36,1.37 all the way to 1.465 and no luck any thing over 3.9 is a no go kinda sucks i think

Don't use auto Vcore.

Set 1.25-1.32 for 4Ghz, that should be plenty.

Yes I would agree with Lsdmeasap too. Your Vcore seems far too high.

ok somthing is wrong with this setup , i had it 3.8 oc and still random freezing and skiping, so i load defaults in bios , ran all at auto/stock and about an hour of gaming still freezing this is way wrong..

You say you loaded defaults in BIOS. Is that Failsafe BIOS Defaults or Optimised BIOS Defaults ?

Maybe you could list your hardware please ?
