570 work temp ?
«
on:
April 24, 2011, 08:01:19 pm »
Hi, i have a GV-N570D5-13I-B.
What is the normal operating temperature at full load ?
I have 48º Celsius at desktop and 86º Celsius at full load.
Fan goes 40% to 67%, to slow to my taste.
Any advice ?.
Thanks.
Biovac.

Hi
I am not that familiar with the nVidia cards but I believe that the bundled software allows you to alter the fan speed etc on the card. There are also several third party programs that do the same thing. I believe one is called MSI Afterburner.

Oh I see. You were merely commenting on the fact that the OPs temperatures are not unusually high for a nVidia card. I would agree and they do get hot which is one reason I stick to AMD Radeons.

Yeah even my 5970 is quite cool under load. I wouldn't worry at all about that temperature.
I ran a GTX295 and it hit over 100C in some games (wowzer!) but it never had any problems. Had it for around a year.

Yes my 6970 is quite cool as well and compared to nVidai cards it is quiet and cool.
