TO everyone,

I don't know why some people want to have 12, 24 Gb in their computer for, unless you are doing video editing, having a Server or CADCAM, etc. etc. Is there any use to stuff your computer full with RAM otherwise ?

I mean with 6 GB you perfectly can play all the games that are on the market and do emails, internet, writing letters, etc etc without any problem. So I don't know why some people who basically do the above things mentioned need all those slots full for ?

I mean I can put 100+ programs in Windows 7 64bit with the help of a swap file in Windows and put them on the desktop and scroll through them with 4-6 Gig of RAM. There is absolute no need to need anymore RAM memory for those things that I said. If you want to overload your computer with things that are not really necessary you are asking for trouble is it not ?

Thanks for your comments anyway but I do venture into 3d apps from time to time and video so I could do with 8GB, actually could do with more but basically can't afford new base system.

So good news for me can get 8GB working, the Graphics Card too which looking at should be easily covered by my current Power supply, and hopefully too an overclock on the processor. Fingers crossed I should be able to get a stable more powerful machine.

Got another question regarding this motherboard now!!!

Been trying to get the Gigabyte Easytune 6 or 5 to work but to no avail.
(As in won't start)

Any idea's as to why, running Windows 7 64Bit?
Processor by the way is a Intel Core 2 Quad core Q6600 2.40.

Want to see what speed can overclock too while keeping good temperature. Already got it to drop 10 degrees with a new fan.

I don't know why you are having trouble getting it to run especially as you have tried both recent versions. Personally I don't like it anyway as it can cause all sorts of trouble and I always prefer to do my adjustments in the BIOS.
