LOL, for some reason I missed reading your post here.  What "premium" do you guys over there have to pay?  If you haven't noticed our economy isn't exactly booming right now.  It seems like I just paid $329.99 and $10 for shipping for a Gigabyte board too.  Then all brand new water cooling gear which is ALL your fault DM!

 As a way of explaining, I resonantly looked at buying the Sony Alfa A900 camera body  .... the conversion rate at the moment is about (very about)
 
 $1.50us to £1.00Bp........so my new camera which I can pick up state side is $2000.00US...........which is about £1500.00 after conversion right!...........NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!..............£2050 locally which works out to about $2600 US.......that's what we mean by "Premium"

Actually Allan you are being more than generous to our Stateside cousins there. $2000 US actually only works out to £1,234.24 by today's rate.  So getting on for half what they pay!
