No you don't need to install XHD or any of the other free software programs that come bundled with the motherboard. It only helps if you want to add more drives at a later date but then it doesn't always work.

is it same way of install raid 0 hard drive on Gigabyte AMD 890GX?

i thinking to run raid 0 hard disk on my amd too

don't need load any Raid driver while installing windows 7? for amd? same as intel?

I don't really have a lot to do with the AMD  side either but as far as I am aware the RAID configuration is the same on either platform.
