At least now you can be fairly confident that there is no problem with your memory.

Have you stripped everything off the system that is really not essential ?

I would suggest that the next step would be a completely fresh install with no drivers or other software that is not necessary for your most basic system to run.

Well, at least I found a hardcore gamer acquaintance who tests this "wrong" VGA in his PC - it is harder then mine - this weekend.

But "I have a bad feeling about this": as I overlooked the Graphic cards forum's topics I think so that this "VPU recover..." problem is a little bit overfrequent regarding Gigabyte's VGA cards... :(

Have you tried setting the voltage by hand ?

Well, i just received the reply from Giga byte's technical support:

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your kindly mail and inquiry. About the issue you mentioned, please try the following steps:

(1) Please confirm there is no insufficient power or overheat problem with your system and VGA card.
(2) Please update your VGA card driver and the games to the latest official version.
(3) If possible, please try to test your VGA card and the games in another system, or test your motherboard with different VGA card to see if there's a hardware problem.

If the problem still occurs in another system, a further testing or examination to your VGA card might be required. We suggest you to contact your supplier (where you bought the product) to arrange further examination and find out the root cause.

Regards,
GIGABYTE

And the test in that other PC (withPSU of better name and power) was negative: the VGA did not freeze during hours.

So I think so the weakest chain in my PC the PSU is. I hope am I right...

I would have to agree that is the case from the information you have supplied. The PSU isn't a top end one and if it has multiple 12v rails then even more likely that it could be the cause.

There is only one question: what kind of PSU is suitable? The reseller offers a lot of PSU...
One of them is "Gigabyte Superb 550P" - do You think that it is a good coise?
In other words, could You tell me how many is the peak electric current that need an Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 5770 (GV-R577UD-1GD) VGA?

I would recommend any PSU from a respectable source like Corsair, Seasonic, Enermax, Silverstone etc but make sure that it is at least 550W and preferably has a single 12v rail.
