Actually I was just looking at those... from what I've read, since they partnered with Corsair, they will not be releasing any of the plates for retail sales. Some have said the plates for the 480 work with the 580 although temps still reach upwards of 80 under load. I think that at this point putting something together may be best rather than going with an all in one unit. This way I can pick the parts best suited for the job. So the discussion then becomes, what is THE name in watercooling? Again, uber noob here looking for some guidance.

Unfortunately the industry as a whole is still in it's infancy.......would be great if you could just go out and buy a Ferrari water-block to go with the BMW water pump and stay away from KIA bits..........reviews are the best tool with a splash of common sense and advise from sites such as these once you tighten up the criteria a bit.

If your adamant that it's only going to cool the Video card/s , there's even a product on the market that fits into two 5 and a half inch bays that is self contained ....pump, reservoir, fan and Radiator ....output is not huge but they do the job ok......then there's add on units that sit out of the case performing the same job.....there really is a plethora of product out there ........price and quality funnily enough don't go hand in hand as much as some other kit.

Cool, thanks for the advice. I'll do my homework and post back once I have some more specific info.

Cheers

For the GPU whole card waterblocks probably the best is EK http://www.candccentral.co.uk/

The pump really depends on how much pressure you want but the Alphacool VPP655 is a great pump http://www.candccentral.co.uk/ and comes with speed control.

Radiator I would suggest the Black Ice series although Phobya also make nice rads. http://www.candccentral.co.uk/

Sweet... Cheers! I'll have a look at those and see if they will work with my 1200.
