GA-MA785GT-UD3H ddr3 voltage

Hello!

I just get this MBO and there is one strange thing. DDR3 voltage is 1.584 default and i cant get any lower only higher values.
It should be 1.50v right? BIOS version is F8 ..tried with F9B and same thing.

And second...MBO temperature is 38 degrees on idle and  load about 40-41. Is this OK?

Thanks!

Hi there,

not sure why you are unable to get DDR3 Voltage down to 1.5V especially as, according to the specs for all 3 revisions of this board, that is what it is supposed to be. I would suggest you contact GGTS via this link: http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/technical-support.aspx ans see if you can get an answer from them about this. There have been a couple of posts where DDR3 Voltage was higher than specified and Gigabyte had increased them via BIOS to help improve system stability and this may just be the case here too.

With regard to your Mobo Temps I would say they are OK and similar to the ones on my own system (GA-890FXA-UD5) and I have not had any issues.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

Today i unlocked my phenom x2 to x4 b55 and it was overclocked to 3,6ghz on 1,375V. After 2-3 minutes my MBO temperature goes to 47 C in Prime test and than i stoped testing. What is max. safe temp for this motherboard and is it OK to have X4 Phenom on 4+1 phase mbo?
