EX58-UD5 F8 BIOS
« on: August 28, 2009, 03:16:57 pm »
I have the above BIOS which I downloaded and installed. When I check on the website there now only seems to be an F7 BIOS.

What happened to the F8 BIOS (dated 06/08/2009), has it been withdrawn?

Just notice a new (beta) BIOS F9e on the website. It says it is for abnormal CPU temperatures.

I wish we could have much more detail in the BIOS release information. I have found that the F8 BIOS I have has new code for the ICH10R and different settings in the BIOS update program.

Hi

There was some problem between F8 bios and old version of EasyTune 6 on the bundled driver CD.
Regarding F9e bios, it also adds new microcode to support Gulftown CPU.

ZX-S & C64 are still my favourites ;-)

Thanks, I never use easyTune, do it all by luck!

Re the support call, I did an email through their system when I had read the other response above, still waiting for a reply.
