I have the power sockets from the Corsair 650W PSU plugged into all of the sockets on the motherboard that I know of(I have quite a few leftover). When I plug in the PSU and turn the power on, the PSU fan and the CPU fan make about 2 revolutions and then just stop. There are a few LED lights lighting up just to the right of the RAM and there is a button in the back lighting up labeled 'Clr CMOS'.I am not sure I have the top case fan and the back case fan connected properly to the PSU. I was just wondering if anybody knew why the CPU and PSU fan only made about 2 slow revolutions and just quit.

Specs:
MoBO- GIGABYTE X58A-UD3R
CPU- intel Core i7
Graphics- GIGABYTE ATI RADEON HD 5770
RAM- Corsair XMS3 Intel Unlocked 6GB
PSU- Corsair TX650W

Hi

The fans "just quit" as you put it because the board tried to boot and then for some reason couldn't. There could be many reasons for this such as a short to the chassis from the motherboard, memory bad or in the wrong place, PSU faulty bent pins in the CPU socket, heatsink not fixed down properly etc.

Maybe you could post a photo of the board for us to see.
